I’ve stop in Kuala Lumpur for a few days on my way from Bangkok to Singapore by train. It’s a great city with lots to see. I’ve been on many walks, so here are the videos I’ve recorded.
Blue Boy Vegetarian Food Center, Kuala Lumpur
Blue Boy Vegetarian Food Center is one of my favorite places to get lunch in Kuala Lumpur. I ate there twice on my most recent visit.
Wan Fo Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur
If you’re visiting the Petaling Street market in Chinatown, this Buddhist vegetarian restaurant is a great place to have either lunch or dinner. Wan Fo Yuan has been open since the 1980s and is a real old-school restaurant.
Walking Around Bangkok
Walking is something we both enjoy, so we are going to be making lots of walking videos wherever we go. As we us Bangkok as our base, this page will be where you can find all our Walking Around Bangkok videos.
Bangkok Snake Farm (Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute)
Bangkok Snake Farm, also known as Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute, is a fantastic place to spend a few hours, and is especially popular with children.
Navaratri Hindu Festival, Bangkok 2019
Even though Thailand is a mainly Buddhist country, one of the most popular events is the annual Navaratri Hindu Festival that takes place in Bangkok.
Wat Yannawa – The Boat Temple, Bangkok
Wat Yannawa is a Buddhist temple in the Yannawa district of Bangkok. For obvious reasons it’s gained the nickname of The Boat Temple.
Nop Nan Vegan Restaurant, Bangkok
When we first came across Nop Nan we thought it was going to be a typical Thai style shophouse restaurant, but were very pleasantly surprised when we saw the menu. It was like no other menu we’ve seen, and had almost 200 dishes, including Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese and Western food.
Two Days In Phetchaburi, Thailand
After spending six months in the seaside town of Hua Hin it was time to head back to Bangkok for a few months. As we love exploring new places we decided to spend a couple of days in Phetchaburi, which is a small town located around 80 km from Hua Hin and 170 km from Bangkok.
