Kwan Im Vegetarian Restaurant, Singapore

When we visit Singapore, we always eat at least once at this popular vegetarian restaurant in Bugis. As I was staying at the nearby Parc Sovereign Hotel, it was an easy walk getting there.

I usually choose on of the claypot dishes, as all the ones I’ve tried are pretty awesome. This time I had the Tofu with Mixed Vegetables version.

The claypot dishes come in small, medium and large sizes. The above dish was S$12 and is more than enough for one person. The medium size (S$18) is enough for two and the large size (S$24) should be good for around four people. If you prefer to mix with other dishes, just the smaller size.

If you’re dining as a group I’d suggest choosing one of the set meals, as this will give you a good choices of many dishes. The prices are very reasonable for Singapore.

The menu includes appetizers, heart soups, spicy dishes, claypots, rice and noodles, delightful desserts and drinks. There is something for everyone.
